PHOTOGRAPHIC SHOOT: As part of the course, the students participate in a professional photo shoot, complete with a folio of research to detail their final look
 
COURSE DETAILS: The course will cover everything required to be a Professional Makeup Artist / Hair stylist for the film, television, theatre and photographic industry. The course delivery is highly intensive, with emphasis placed on practical demonstrations and practical applications. It also involves theory lessons and assignments. Electives are part of the course.

Full time: 3 days a week for 12 months

Part time: 2 evenings a week for 15 months

Depending on the nature of the job, you will be able to work alone as a make-up artist, on large scale productions or supervise other make-up artists.
 
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: Students will have the opportunity to gain practical makeup experience in the field. Our students have provided makeup and hair services to:  Miss Australia competion, Miss Country Girl, Ralph magazine shoot and competition,The Whitehouse College of Design  parades, Mardi Gras, Hair Expo , FBI fashion college, Screenwise, The Actors Pulse. Toni and Guy, De Lorenzo, Telstra Care Flight. television commercials and much more. 
 
COURSE FEES: $8900. A non refundable deposit of $1000.00 is required to secure your placement. A payment plan is available to pay off the balance.

 
ENROLMENT FEE: $25.00 ( non refundable)  payable with the course deposit. This administration fee enables us to be compliant with government regulations for enrolment records. 

MAKE-UP KIT: $1150 The make-up kit includes beauty and SPFX products presented in a professional make-up case. It also includes a large sable brush set and college T shirt. Payment plans are not available for the kit. Contact the Academy for a full kit list.
